Efficacy of amiodarone combined with metoprolol in the treatment of heart failure with ventricular arrhythmia and improvement of HR and QTc in electrocardiogram
Objective Investigating the effect of amiodarone and metoprolol combined therapy on chronic cardiac dysfunction with ventricular arrhythmia and the improvement of HR and QTc in ECG of patients.Method Sixty-eight patients with chronic heart dysfunction with ventricular arrhythmia admitted to Kuitun Hospital,Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture,Xinjiang, from June 1,2019 to June 1,2022 were included in this study.According to the double-blind method, the patients were divided into two groups, and the two groups were respectively treated with metoprolol(control group,n=34),amiodarone combined with metoprolol(experimental group n=34),the therapeutic effects of patients were compared, and the ECG HR,QTc indexes and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the therapeutic effect,The experimental group's total effective rate(94.12%)was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).Com-pared with the control group,HR,EF,QTC and other indexes in the experimental group were significantly better, having significant dif-ference between the two groups(P<0.05).Comparing the incidence of adverse reactions, proportion of experimental group(2.94%)was lower than the control group, the two groups have significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of chronic car-diac dysfunction with ventricular arrhythmia, the combination therapy of amiodarone and metoprolol can improve the curative effect,sig-nificantly improve the cardiac function of patients, and have few side effects and high safety.
