Analysis of self-efficacy status and influencing factors in stroke patients with hypertension in Urumqi
Objective To explore the status quo of self-efficacy of stroke patients with hypertension in Urumqi,and analyze its in-fluencing factors.Methods 175 inpatients with stroke and hypertension were selected from a tertiary hospital in Urumqi,and their self-efficacy and influencing factors were analyzed by using general information questionnaire,modified Barthel Index Rating Scale(MBI),and Stroke self-efficacy Questionnaire(SSEQ).Results The average score of self-care ability in stroke patients with hyper-tension was(66.30±29.06),which was at the level of mild to moderate dysfunction;The self-efficacy score was(50.88±24.58),which was at a moderate to low level;Pearson correlation analysis showed a positive correlation between self-efficacy and self-care ability(r=0.900)(P<0.01);Multiple linear regression analysis showed that education level and self-care ability were independent influencing factors for patients'self-efficacy(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-efficacy of stroke patients with hypertension is at a medium to low level,and the main influencing factors are educational level and self-care ability.Psychological education should be conducted based on the cultural level and functional status of patients to improve their self-efficacy,promote active rehabilitation,and improve the qual-ity of life after stroke.
