Anxiety status and influencing factors of young patients with breast cancer
Objective To understand the mental health status of young breast cancer patients and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide basis for formulating mental health intervention measures for young breast cancer patients.Methods From January 2021 to January 2022,234 young patients with breast cancer from two tertiary hospitals in Hunan Province were selected by conve-nience sampling method,and general information questionnaire and generalized anxiety disorder(GAD-7)were used to investigate.Re-sults Of 234 breast cancer patients investigated,75(32.1%)showed anxiety.The results of binary regression analysis showed that family monthly income(OR=0.017,95%CI:0.005-0.054),education level(OR=16.659,95%CI:5.958-46.583),and whether to have children(OR=0.050,95%CI:0.007-0.334)were independent influencing factors for anxiety symptoms of young breast cancer patients(all P<0.05).Conclusion Young breast cancer patients are prone to psychological problems such as anxiety.We should pay attention to the psychological intervention measures for young breast cancer patients with low income,high education and childless-ness to reduce their anxiety and other negative emotions and promote their mental health.
