Status and factors of stigma in 300 patients with maintenance hemodialysis in Urumqi
Objective To investigate the stigma status and the influencing factors of 300 patients with maintenance blood dialysis(MHD)in Urumqi.Methods From January to December 2021,the stratified multi-stage cluster random sampling method was used to select 3 districts in Urumqi,each district randomly selected 1 hospital,a total of 3 hospitals were selected,100 eligible MHD patients were included.A total of 300 patients were selected as the research objects,and the status quo of stigma and influencing factors of MHD patients were analyzed.Results The total score of stigma among MHD patients in Urumqi was(56.89±6.39)points.Multivariate analysis showed that high education,long dialysis time,low per capita monthly income,combined with other chronic diseases,alexi-thymia,and low mindfulness were high risk factors affecting stigma in MHD patients(P<0.05).Conclusion MHD patients are affected by educational level,dialysis time,per capita monthly income,other chronic diseases,alexithymia,and mindfulness level in Urumqi.
