Application of local correction in long-term dental implant repair
Objective To explore and analyze the application effect and clinical value of local correction before long-term dental implant repair.Method Fifty patients with long-term dentition defects who received treatment in the Department of Stomatology from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected as observation subjects.They were divided into two groups based on their willingness to choose the treatment method.There were 25 patients who chose traditional bracket orthodontic treatment and 25 patients who chose invisible orthodontic treatment.The traditional group underwent local correction with traditional brackets,while the invisible group un-derwent invisible correction without brackets.Results(1)The scores of chewing function,aesthetics,comfort,pain,and fixation func-tion in the invisible orthodontic group were higher than those in the traditional bracket orthodontic group,with statistical differences(P<0.05);(2)The complication rate of patients in the invisible correction group was lower than that in the traditional bracket correction group,with statistical differences(P<0.05);(3)The quality of life score of the invisible correction group after repair treatment was high-er than that of the traditional bracket correction group,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Both orthodontic methods can be used in long-term dental implant repair,but compared with the traditional partial orthodontic brackets,no-bracket invisible orth-odontic application effect is better,the clinical value is higher.
