A qualitative study on psychological experience of infertile women with non-transplantable embryos
Objective To explore the psychological experience of infertile women with non-transplantable embryos.Methods A semi-structured interview was conducted in 10 infertile women with no transplanted embryos and the data were analyzed.Results Four themes were extracted from the psychological experience of ten infertile women who had no transplantable embryos,including in-creased negative emotions,the desire for psychological support,the lack of knowledge about assisted reproduction,and the concern about later treatment.Conclusion The medical staff should pay full attention to the psychological status and needs of the infertile wom-en with non-transplantable embryos,strengthen the family and social support of patients,provide reproductive knowledge and health education,and give the corresponding post-treatment program to help the patients.actively cope.
