Genome-wide Identification of AP2/ERF Gene Family in Lithospermum erythrorhizon
Objective Lithospermum erythrorhizon is an important medicinal plant resource, and the family of AP2/ERF transcrip-tion factors of L.erythrorhizon can be identified and studied, which can target key genes that regulate the synthesis and metabolism of active substances. Methods In this study, based on the genome of L.erythrorhizon, the AP2/ERF transcription factor family of L.eryth-rorhizon was identified using conserved domain analysis, and physicochemical property, phylogenetic relationships and cis-acting ele-ment were predicted and analyzed. Results There were 177 members of the AP2/ERF transcription factor family of L.erythrorhizon, which were composed of five subfamilies:AP2,RAV,ERF,DREB and Soloist.Their molecular weights ranged from 9.0 to 73.0 kDa,and their isoelectric points varied from 4.0 to 11.0,which were mainly localized in the nucleus. The LeERF and LeDREB subfamilies were subdivided into 10 subgroups,of which LeDREB subfamilies lacked A3 member and LeERF subfamily lacked B2 member. The hormone-response elements,stress-response elements, growth and development-related elements, and light response elements com-prise the main components. Conclusion This study enriches the genetic resources of the medicinal plant, and laid a theoretical founda-tion for the breeding and in-depth development of L.erythrorhizon.
