Analysis of influencing factors and maternal and infant outcomes of gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To observe the adverse pregnancy outcome of pregnant women with gestational diabetes(GDM)and analyze its related risk factors,so as to improve the maternal and infant outcomes of patients with GDM.Methods 128 pregnant women with GDM and 105 pregnant women without GDM were selected from Anyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2021 to February 2023.The risk factors of adverse pregnancy outcomes were analyzed by univariate and binary Logistic regression. The mater-nal and infant outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results Among 128 GDM pregnant women, the incidence of adverse preg-nancy outcome was 46.09%.The cesarean section rate was 53.91%,and there were statistically significant differences between GDM group and non-GDM group in age≥35 years,BMI≥24 kg/m2,vaginal candida infection, family history of diabetes, positive hepatitis B surface antigen, and polycystic ovary syndrome(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression results showed that age≥35 years old,BMI≥24 kg/m2,family history of diabetes, positive hepatitis B surface antigenwere all independent risk factors for adverse pregnancy out-comes with GDM(OR=3.88,3.75,4.96,3.10,P<0.05).Conclusion Strict attention should be paid to the risk factors for adverse preg-nancy outcomes in GDM pregnant women, and corresponding interventions should be actively carried out during pregnancy to reduce the probability of adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women and help patients improve maternal and infant outcomes.
