Diagnostic value of DWI and SWI in intracranial cavernous angioma
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)and susceptibility weighted imag-ing(SWI)in Intracranial cavernous angioma(ICA).Methods The ICA imaging data of 28 patients were retrospectively analyzed. The scanning sequence included conventional sequence,DWI and SWI sequence. The location, size, shape, number of lesions on DWI and SWI sequence and the relationship with surrounding brain tissue were observed, and the diagnostic value of ICA was analyzed. Results In 28 patients, conventional sequence detected 31 lesions, while DWI and SWI detected 37 and 39 lesions, respectively. Not only the range of single ICA lesion detected by these two methods is basically larger than that by conventional sequence, but also the number of ICA lesions detected by these two methods is significantly increased, and the detection rate and diagnostic accuracy of ICA are also highly consistent. Conclusion DWI and SWI have high ICA detection rate and correct diagnosis rate, and have high sensitivity and reli-ability,and the combination of the two has more clinical application value.
