Repairing Effect of the Compound Peony Seed Oil Extract on Skin Photoaging Damage
Ganoderma lucidum,Panax ginseng and Saussurea involucrata(Tianshan snow lotus)were extracted by biphasic continuous oil extraction technology as raw materials, and the plant complex extract was compounded with hydrogenated polyisobutylene and peony seed oil with a certain mass ratio to obtain the compound peony seed oil extract.Through the 2D fibroblast model, the maximum safe dose of the compound peony seed oil extract was explored, and this maximum safe dose was used as the upper limit to evaluate the repairing effect on skin photoaging by using a 3D skin model of full layer(FulKutis®)skin photoaging damage model. The results showed that the maximum safe dose of the compound peony seed oil extract on fibroblasts was 0.25%(in volume fraction);0.05%~0.20%(in volume fraction)of this compound extract could clearly improve the morphology of epidermal cells, reduce the UV damage to the thickness of the epidermal layer as well as the density of fibroblasts in the dermal layer, etc.,and it could significantly enhance the expression of type Collagen Ⅳ expression(P<0.01)and reduced DNA damage by decreasing the number of CPD-producing cells(P<0.01),which also indicated its good efficacy in repairing photoaging.
