Efficacy of Acetylated Sodium Hyaluronate in Improving Skin
In order to study the efficacy of acetylated sodium hyaluronate(AcHA)in improving skin texture,AcHA was used as raw material and its moisturizing, repairing, tightening, and antioxidant properties on the skin were tested. The results showed that the cumulative permeability of AcHA was 35.9%,and its performance was good;moisturizing efficacy was evaluated by detected changes in the skin moisture content and natural moisturizing factor content of the epidermal skin model.Repairing efficacies were evaluated by the tissue morphology, barrier related protein content, and transepidermal water loss rate of the epidermal skin model. The research shows that 0.25%concentration AcHA in volume fraction has good moisturizing, repairing, firming, and antioxidant effects, providing a theoretical basis for the further development and utilization of AcHA.
