GC-MS Analysis on Essential Oil of Cistus Ladaniferus and Its Antioxidant Properties
The essential oil components of Cistus ladaniferus were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS),and the in vitro antioxidant properties were studied by DPPH and ABTS.The results showed that a total of 37 compounds were identified after qualitative and quantitative analyses of the main components of Cistus ladaniferus essential oil, with a volume fraction of 99.76%,and the main components were 2-methyl-4,5-nonadiene(17.97%),geraniol(8.87%),linalool(7.17%),2,6-octadien-1-ol,3,7-dimethyl-,(Z)-(6.49%),6-octen-1-ol,3,7-dimethyl-,formate(6.46%)and cyclohexane,1-butenylidene-(5.58%),accounting for 52.84%of the total components. The scavenging rates of DPPH and ABTS free radicals could reach 70.81%and 90.00%,showing that the rock rose essential oil has antioxidant activity.
