保湿防腐剂1,2-辛二醇的抑菌功效及刺激性考察

为考察保湿防腐剂 1,2-辛二醇的抑菌效能,采用微量肉汤稀释法,通过目测法与OD600 吸光值法测定 1,2-辛二醇的最低抑菌浓度(MIC),结果一致:大肠埃希菌、白色念珠菌的MIC值均为 8 mg/mL,金黄色葡萄球菌、铜绿假单胞菌、黑曲霉为 16 mg/mL.参考MIC值设定给药剂量,通过多次皮肤刺激试验和眼睛刺激试验,确定 1,2-辛二醇对哺乳动物的皮肤和眼睛均为微弱刺激.因此,1,2-辛二醇具有较好的防腐抑菌效果,可作为"无添加防腐剂"单独使用或与其他物质复配,从而代替传统防腐剂.
Evaluation of the Bacteriostatic Efficacy and Irritation of 1,2-Octanediol as Moisturizer and Preservative
In order to evaluate inhibitory activity of the moisturizing preservative 1,2-octanediol,the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)of 1,2-octanediol was determined by visual inspection and OD600 absorbance value method using the micro broth dilution method,and the results were consistent:the MIC values of Escherichia coli and Candida albicans were 8 mg/mL,and the MIC values for Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,and Aspergillus niger were 16 mg/mL.With reference to the MIC values,the administered dose was set for multiple times skin stimulation test and eye irritation test.It was determined that 1,2-octanediol was a weak irritant on mammals'skin and eyes.Therefore,1,2-octanediol has good antiseptic and antibacterial effects.It is available to take place of traditional antiseptic as exclusive use or compound with other substances.
