Whitening and Anti-Acne Effects of Mask Emulsion with Artemisia Mongolica Oil
The anti-acne efficacy of the mask emulsion with the volatile oil of Artemisia mongolica was studied by the micro broth dilution method and the rabbit ear acne model test,and the whitening effect was detected by using the in vitro biochemical method.The results showed that the mask emulsion had good inhibitory effects on Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus,and had good therapeutic and lesion repair effects on the rabbit ear acne model.The results of whitening validation test showed that the mask emulsion had strong inhibitory effects on DPPH free radicals and tyrosinase.Therefore,mask emulsion with the volatile oil of Artemisia mongolia has potential development and utilization value in the cosmetic market.
