Preparation of Characteristic Tobacco Flavors by Segmental Extraction of Waste Tobacco Leaves
Waste tobacco leaves were used as raw materials, and the tobacco leaves were extracted in a segmented manner using room temperature extraction and secondary heating extraction to obtain two different tobacco extracts, and the compounds were analyzed for their compositions using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).Ethyl lindenate, benzyl alcohol, ethyl palmitate and other compounds were identified in the tobacco extract after regular temperature extraction;the characteristic components in the tobacco still existed after secondary heating, but lacked some alcohols, acids and esters, and more nicotinic components were obtained from the extraction. The segmented extraction of discarded tobacco leaves using the two processes to obtain different tobacco extracts, making the extracts have different evaluation of the smoking effect, which helps improve the differentiated utilization of discarded tobacco leaves.
