Apparent Indications and Influencing Factors of Sensitive Scalp among Young Women in Shanghai,China
The external manifestations and influencing factors of scalp sensitivity and sebum secretion among young women aged 18 to 25 in Shanghai were studied in this paper. The volunteers'sensitivity, scalp problems, hair problems, hair care product usage behavior, daily habits and 3S questionnaires were collected online. After the 3S questionnaire scores of the same sample were tested to be consistent with normal distribution,Excel's t-test was used to perform statistical analysis on all significant differences in the study. It was found that the sensitive scalp could induce various symptoms such as pain, tightness, burning sensation, and itching in volunteers due to stimulation by different environmental factors. No significant difference was found in scalp oil secretion between volunteers with different sensitivity levels. The more hair and scalp problems there are,the higher the sensitivity score is,and there is a significant difference.
