Activities and Transdermal Research of Resveratrol Inclusion Complex
A water-soluble encapsulated resveratrol complex(eRES)containing 8%resveratrol(RES),91%sulfobutyl-β-cyclodextrin and 1%(all in mass fraction)polyquaternary ammonium salt-51 as wall materials was studied.Biochemical methods, zebrafish models and mushroom tyrosinase models were used to compare the anti-oxidant,anti-inflammatory and inhibitory activities of eRES and pure RES(pRES).The effect of eRES on collagen production on fibroblast model and the transdermal absorption of eRES were studied. The results showed that eRES,at the same RES concentration, had similar anti-oxidant,anti-inflammatory soothing and tyrosinase inhibitory activities as pRES.Meanwhile,eRES could promote the synthesis of collagen. The transdermal absorption capacity of eRES was further verified. This study also revealed that sulfobutyl-β-cyclodextrin and polyquaternary ammonium salt-51,as wall materials, had little effect on the efficacy of the coated raw materials, which would provide a reference for their future use as wall materials.
