Research Progress on the Essential Oil of Amomum Tsaoko and Its Application
As a well-known traditional Chinese medicine in Yunnan,Amomum tsaoko is one of the natural medicinal and edible homologous varieties.This review classified the chemical constituents of its essential oil and summarized its application in food and medicine industries,including flavoring,bacteriostasis and antisepsis,antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,epidemic prevention,and looked forward to its application prospects,aiming to provide scientific reference basis for the quality evaluation and further research and development of Amomum tsaoko.
