Aromatic Components of Highly-Processed Zimbabwe Tobacco Paste and Its Application in Heat-Not-Burn Cigarette
Zimbabwean tobacco paste was highly-processed under aerobic and high-pressure conditions, and a certain amount of atomizing liquid was added during the process to prevent raw material burnted and facilitate the dissolution of aroma components. The volatile components of Zimbabwe tobacco paste and its highly-processed products were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and compared. The results showed that the content of volatile light components and baking flavor characteristic components of processed Zimbabwe tobacco paste was significantly higher than that of unprocessed Zimbabwe tobacco paste. In order to further verify its ability to improve the flavor quality of the heat-not-burn cigarette, the highly-processed product of Zimbabwe cigarette paste was added into the heat-not-burn Cigarette tobacco material. It was found that the highly-processed product of Zimbabwe cigarette paste had obvious flavor effect in the heat-not-burn cigarette, which significantly improved the aroma quality and comfort of the heat-not-burn cigarette, and its smoking flavor was closer to that of traditional cigarettes.
