The IFSCC Congress,as an internationally influential academic exchange event in cosmetics,centered around the theme Rethinking Beauty Science in 2023,engaging in discussions on the latest advancements in cosmetic science.In order to help domestic cosmetics researchers better understand IFSCC and some cutting-edge cosmetics scientific research progress,the organizational background of IFSCC and some basic overview of this conference,such as the number of participants,institutions,paper submissions and awards were introduced in this paper.Additionally,innovative research findings in areas such as AI technology,neurocosmetics,skin microbiome,and innovative detection techniques were highlighted.
