敬畏研究的知识结构与边界拓展

随着社会现代性的发展,个体化进程在不断加速,在这样的现实背景之下,社会共同体的建立就越发显得迫切.敬畏作为"敬"与"畏"混合的一种社会道德情感,具有强大的变革性能量,不仅会影响个体人格的塑造,还会影响社会团结的形成与社会秩序的维持.在儒家文化的背景之中,敬畏源主要是一种"人本敬畏",产生于人际互动之中.敬畏在体验上又可以划分为积极敬畏与威胁敬畏,基于恐惧的威胁敬畏,则往往会带来更多的消极影响.自我概念的发展被认为是敬畏发挥其亲社会效应的主要心理机制,如自我边界扩展下的自我超越.未来的敬畏研究除了要关注到敬畏的消极影响外,还应该积极拓展心理学的研究边界,将历史文化维度和社会结构维度纳入研究范畴.
Knowledge structure and boundary expansion of awe research
With the development of social modernity,the process of individualization is accelerating.Under such a realistic background,the establishment of social community becomes more and more urgent.Awe,as a kind of social moral emotion,is a mixture of"respect"and"fear".It has a powerful transformative energy,which will not only affect the shaping of individual personality,but also affect the formation of social unity and the maintenance of social order.In the background of Confucian culture,the elicitor of awe is mainly a kind of"human-oriented awe"which is generated in interpersonal interaction.In experi-ence,awe can be divided into positive awe and threat awe,while threat awe based on fear often brings more negative effects.The development of self-concept is considered to be the main psychological mecha-nism for awe to exert its prosocial effects,such as self-transcendence,which is an expansion of self-boundary.In addition to paying attention to the negative effects of awe,the future study of awe should al-so actively expand the research boundary of psychology and include the dimensions of historical culture and social structure into the research domains.
