Objective To study the effects of cesarean section postpartum need hierarchy nursing.Methods A total of 68 puerperas after cesarean section admitted to our hospital were selected and randomly divided into a conventional group and an intervention group (n=34,respectively).The conventional group received general duty nursing,while the intervention group received early nursing intervention according to Maslow need hierarchy theory to observe the postpartum self-care ability and quality of life in the two groups.Results The normal life ability,social and family integration,emotional and mental state and other indicators scores in the conventional group were lower than those in the intervention group (P < 0.05);the self-care ability,self-care responsibility,self condition knowledge and health knowledge and other indicator scores in the conventional group were lower than those in the intervention group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Maslow need hierarchy nursing of puerperas after cesarean section can effectively improve their self-care ability and quality of life.
