Experimental Study on Superabsorbent Resin to Rapidly Improving the Fluidity of Waste Slurry
The effective utilization of engineering waste slurry with high water content,high fluidity,and low strength is a practical engineering problem that needs to be solved urgently.Utilizing highly absorbent resin material to treat waste slurry,the waste slurry fluidity test was carried out to investigate the change rule of waste slurry fluidity under different initial water content and different quality concentrations of absorbent resin.The results show that slurry fluidity increases with the increase of slurry initial water content,and the fitting curve of slurry initial water content and flow value in the test range is a quadratic function;Slurry fluidity decreases with the increase of the mass concentration of water absorbent resin within the range of 0-10 g/L,and the slurry is in the state of plastic curing after 10 g/L;After 10 min of mixing time,the mud flow value is in a relatively stable state(the flow value is less than 15 cm)and is with plasticity,which makes the mud transfer or reuse process become fast and easy.The key factors affecting the flowability of the slurry are the initial water content of the slurry and the quality concentration of the water-absorbing resin,and the mixing time also has a specific effect.
