Based on the data of forest resource survey of Jianyang Municipality in 201 1 and the monitoring data provided by related departments,the service function of the forest ecosystem in Jianyang was evaluated by using the method of“Norm of Service Function Assessment of Forest Ecosystem in China”(LY/T1721 -2008),which was published by State Forestry Administration in 2008.The results showed that the total value of the forest ecosystem services in Jianyang Municipality was 169.27 ×108 yuan/a in the year of 2011.The value of the seven types of services was ordered as water conservation >biodiversity reservation >soil conservation and fertility maintenance>C fixation and O2 generation >material production >air purification >forest tourism,the value of three services including water conservation,biodiversity protection,soil conservation and fertility maintenance accounted for 80.2% in the total value of the forest ecosystem services.
