Empirical Study on the Competitiveness of the Forest Health Industry in Chinese Provinces Based on the Entropy-TOPSIS Model
To clarify the competitiveness of the forest health industry in various provinces of China, relevant theories of industrial competitiveness are integrated.A provincial forest health industry competitiveness evaluation index system is constructed from 4 dimensions:competitive potential, competitive strength, competitive transforma-tion power, and competitive support power.Based on the dynamic data of forest health industry development indica-tors from 2015 to 2020,the Entropy-TOPSIS model is used to evaluate the competitiveness of China's provincial forest health industry. The results indicate that from a dynamic trend, the overall competitiveness level of the national forest health industry has shown an upward trend over the past 6 years, and the development speed of the forest health industry has significantly improved;at present, there are significant differences in the competitiveness level of the for-est health industry among provinces in China. The overall competitiveness shows a spatial characteristic of'higher in the southwest and southern regions, and the weakest in the northwest region',and the development status of the com-petitiveness of the forest health industry standards in different regions is relatively uneven;the development of the for-est health industry is highly consistent with the development of regional forest resources, and the economic develop-ment status also dramatically affects the competitiveness of the forest health industry.Based on this, suggestions are proposed to strengthen infrastructure construction in weak areas, encourage the development of urban forestry, focus on integrating forest health and related industries, and formulate corresponding assistance policies.
