To comprehensively implement the relevant regulations of the Party Central Committee on ecological civilization con-struction,the"River Chief System"and the"One River,One Policy"management and protection plan must be implemented,which can effectively curb river and lake pollution and ensure the safety of regional water ecology.This article comprehensively reviews the current situation and main problems in water resource management and protection of the Jinyuan River and Shiting River in the Deyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.Based on the actual situation of the region,the overall goal of short-term governance has been formulated.In addition,several sub goals were formulated from the aspects of water re-source protection,water shoreline management and protection,water pollution prevention and control,water environment govern-ance,and water ecological restoration,and specific tasks were planned in detail,with a series of guarantee measures proposed.The"One River,One Policy"management and protection plan in Dekai District not only effectively solves existing water re-source management and protection problems,but also provides reference for river and lake governance and management and pro-tection issues in other regions.
