Preparation and properties of an O/W type polyurethane aqueous external release agent
Traditional oil-based release agents contain organic solvents that may pollute the environment. With the enhancement of global environmental protection awareness, more green and non-toxic water-based release agents have gradually become a re-search focus. In order to develop a new release agent for automotive interior,an O/W type polyurethane waterborne external re-lease agent was prepared with dimethyl silicone oil and hydrogen-containing silicone oil as the main raw materials.By measuring the properties of the release agent samples, the effects of the type and ratio of the main release agents and the ratio of compound emulsifiers on the properties of the release agent were discussed. The elemental analysis of the surface of polyurethane foam after mold release was carried out by energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS).The results showed that the ratio of dimethylsilicone oil and hydrosilicone oil was 1∶1 as the base polymer, and the solid content was 19.41%.The O/W type polyurethane aqueous ex-ternal release agent prepared by SP-80 and TW-80 composite emulsion system had the best stability, and no Si element remained on the surface of the polyurethane foam after release, which had the best release effect.
