Resistance Evaluation of Bitter Gourd Resource to Fusarium wilt
Bitter gourd wilt. which caused by Fusarum wik , is one of the soil-bome diseases and badly reducea the yield and quality. It has been proved that breeding and growing resistant cultivar in one of the economical and effective measures to control this disease. In this study , resistance of bitter gourd resourcea from Sichuan had been evaluated inoeulating pathogens by root cutting. The results showed the bitter gourd resources of Sichuan kept at high levels in disease resistance. Of 23 resourcea evaluated, 65.21 ％ were resistant or middle resistant to Fusarium wilt.
