Difference Comparative Study on Quality Traits of Waxy and Common Wheat
The introduced waxy cultivars and wheat cultivars with good agronomic traits in Chongqing were hackcrossed and some new wheet line of white tableta waxy with some good agronomic traits that fit in Chongqing were bred by Special Crop Rescarch Institute of Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Two waxy cultivars . includinS YuL-3 and YuL-1 , and common wheat cultivars of Chongqing were selected as materials to study the difference in qualily traits. The results showed, compared with experimental common wheat cultivars , YuL-3 and YuL-1 had low or very low amylose content. The peak time , PK , hold through .final viscoairy and anabiosis were significantly lower than that of the common wheat cultivars. The improvement of waxy wheat flour blending was also discussed.
