Genetic Diversity and Cluster Analysis of Big Fruit Tomato Germplasm Resources
13 characters of 49 big fruit tomato gennplasm resouces were analyzed to study their genetic diversity.The result indicated that there were abundant genetic variation among different fruit characters and different germplasm resources.The variation coefficient of the 13characters ranged from 6.61% to 65.69 % among the 49 materials.The color of placenta jelly had the greatest coefficient variation,and the transverse diameter of fruit was the smallest.49 big fruit tomato germplasm resources were classified to 3 groups by cluster analysis.The materials coded as No.8,No.15,No.23 in Group 1 and No.36,No.40,No.43 in Group Ⅱ,which were found with some favorable traits andcould be used in the breeding and production of the big fruit tomato.This study makes certain the genetic diversity of big fruit tomato gennplasm resources and these results can be a basis for accelerating the utilization and improvement of the big fruit tomato materials.
