Effects of Different Phytohormones on Resistance of Tobacco Seedling under Drought Stress
2,7-dichloro-fluorescein (DCFH) staining method was used to qualitativdy detect the levels of Reactive Oxygen Species (AOS)in tobacco leaves under different drought conditions with application of different exogenous phytohormones (6-BA,2,4-D,IBA).The experiment revealed that persistent drought stress would induce the accumulation of AOS in leaf veins and the degree would increase accompanied by the level of drought stress. In addition, exogenetic phytohormones could increase the resistance of tobacco seedling to the drought stress to some extent.2,4-D had the greatest effect, followed by 6-BA.The IBA treatment did not show obvious influence.
