Four fertilization treatments, including non-fertilization (CK),organic fertilizer, chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer + chemical fertilizer were applied to the tomato ‘ Cuihong' and ‘ Qianxi' varieties, respectively.Effects of different fertilizations on the functional components and antioxidant activities of tomatoes were studied. The results showed that the contents of functional components in tomatoes, such as lycopene,β-carotene,polyphenols,vitamin C and glutathione (GSH) all increased in fertilized treatments than those in CK.However, during the three fertilizations, the contents of lycopene,β-carotene and vitamin C in organic fertilizer + chemical fertilizer treatment were significantly higher than those in organic fertilizer or chemical fertilizer only, but the contents of total phenolic acid, total flavone and glutathione (GSH) did not have the same trend.Antioxidant activity was significantly higher in fertilized treatments than that in CK,but there was no significant difference among the three fertilizers treatments.
