[Objective]Exploring the mechanism relationship between digital rural construction and common prosperity is of great significance to promote agricultural and rural modernization and rural revitalization.[Method]From the two dimensions of'prosperity'and'common',5 first-level indicators and 13 second-level indicators were selected to build a comprehensive indicator system for the development of common prosperity.From the three aspects of digital infrastructure construction,digital platform construction and digital financial construction,5 indi-cators were selected to construct an evaluation index system for digital rural construction.Based on the inter-provincial panel data from 2011 to 2022,the relationship and mechanism of action between digital rural construction and common prosperity development were explored by comprehensively utilizing methods such as two-way fixed effect model,mediating effect model,moderating effect model and threshold effect model.[Result](ⅰ)The construction of digital countryside played a significant role in promoting the process of common prosperity and pas-sed a series of robustness and endogeneity tests.(ⅱ)There was regional heterogeneity in the influence of digital rural construction on common prosperity.The driving effect of digital rural construction on common prosperity was most significant in western region,followed by eastern re-gion,but there was no evidence of common prosperity in the central region.(ⅲ)Upgrading industrial structure and improving agricultural la-bor productivity were important ways for digital rural construction to promote common prosperity.(ⅳ)The role of digital rural construction in promoting the development of common prosperity was affected by the level of scientific and technological innovation.With the continuous im-provement of scientific and technological innovation level,the driving effect of digital countryside construction on common prosperity had been significantly enhanced.[Conclusion]According to the conclusion of the study,we should further strengthen the construction of digital country-side,and focus on supporting the upgrading of industrial structure and improving agricultural labor productivity,and accelerate the level of scientific and technological innovation to further promote common prosperity.
