Indoor and field control effect of common insecticides against Sogatella furcifera in southwest Yunnan rice area
[Objective]In order to provide a reference basis for the selection of insecticides for field control of white backed planthopper,So-gatella furcifera(WBPH),the resistance levels of WBPH population to 7 kinds of insecticides in southwest Yunnan rice area,as well as the field control effects of these insecticides against WBPH were studied,and the safety of insecticides against the main natural enemies of WB-PH,spider and Cyrtorhinus lividipennis,was evaluated.[Method]The research group used the method of rice stem impregnation to monitor the indoor resistance of WBPH to 7 kinds of insecticides,and analyzed the indoor toxicity(LC50)and resistance Ratio(RR).Meanwhile,the research group conducted field efficacy test of 7 kinds of insecticides against WBPH by using plant protection UAV to spray,and analyzed the WBPH's number of 100 plants and corrected control effect on the 3rd day and 7thday after treatment,the same as natural enemies.[Result]Resistance monitoring:Compared with sensitive populations,the LC50 of triflumezopyrim 10% SC,pymetrozine 25% SC,nitenpyram 60% SP,sulfoxaflor 22% SC,thiamethoxam 25% WG,imidacloprid 25% SP and dinotefuran 25% OD to WBPH populations in southwest Yunnan were 0.18,1.31,0.84,2.40,0.66,0.96 and 6.43 mg/L,and RR were 0.42,2.74,3.07,4.83,6.87,8.81 and 31.99,respectively.The WBPH population in southwest Yunnan had developed medium resistance to dinotefuran and low resistance to imidacloprid and thiamethox-am,while other insecticides were sensitive.Field efficacy test:The corrected control effects of the 7 kinds of insecticides against WBPH were 85.35% -95.91% in the 7th day after treatment.The control effect of sulfoxaflor was relatively poor,and there was no significant difference among other insecticides.Natural enemy safety evaluation:The corrected population decline rates of the natural enemies and C.lividipennis were 30.37% -51.10% and 43.90% -86.10% in the 7thday after Phosphide treatment.All the insecticides were harmful to spider and Cyrtorhinus lividipennis,however spiders were relatively safe than C.lividipennis.[Conclusion]The results have shown good field control effect of the 7 kinds of insecticides against WBPH in southwest Yunnan,and they can be recommended as commonly used insecticides.Espe-cially,pymetrozine and triflumezopyrim have better control effects and safer for natural enemies than the others,and dinotefuran should be used in rotation.
