Civilized Image Shaping in Textbooks:A Study Based on the Unified Edition of Junior High School Textbooks
Enhancing students'cultural literacy is an important goal of building a high-quality education system during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.It is also an important measure to implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral-ity.The image of civilization in textbooks is a visual expression of students'civilization literacy,which guides students to understand the real world and construct the world of meaning,helps students confirm the essence of their own social existence,and guides students to become more civilized social beings.Based on the"Students'Civilization Literacy Framework",this paper analyzes the text of unified edition of Morality and Law,Chinese and History textbooks in jun-ior high schools,and finds that the textbook shapes the image of the laborer in the material civilization life,the image of the founder in the spiritual civilization life,the defender in the political civilization life,the model in the social civilization life,and the guardian in the ecological civilization life.At the same time,it is still necessary to further optimize the cul-tivation of students'civilization literacy in textbooks by improving the shaping of the civilization image of the overall civilized life in the textbooks,highlighting the meaning of life in the typical civilization image,and focusing on the broadening of students'imagination by focusing on shaping techniques,strengthening the connection between the char-acter narrative and the students'life world,and vividly presenting the image of civilization.
