Effects of IBA and NAA on Hydroponics of Rhododendron
With Rhododendron cuttings as experimental materials, physiological effects has been studied of morphology index like the plant weight, root length and root number, biochemical indicators like the activity of catalase and chlorophyll content after treatment of different concentrations of NAA and IBA under hydroponic conditions.The results show that compared with the control group, different concentrations of IBA and NAA treatments all had some effects on the growth of Rhododendron cuttings.The concentration of 80-100 mg/L IBA, the effect of 20 mg/L and 100 mg/L NAA promoting the plant is remarkable;80 mg/L IBA, 80 mg/L NAA promote the root number and root length are the best;the Rhododendron cuttings treated under 80 mg/L IBA and 80 mg/L NAA had higher activity of catalase (CAT) and better resistance to stress.
