A Supplementary Study on the Life and Achievements of WANG Ruan
My article "A Study on the Life and Achievements of Southern Song Dynasty Poet WANG Ruan"was published in the second issue of the journal Yangtze River Academic Studies in 2009. However,there were many aspects that could not be verified,especially the time of being appointed after passing the imperial examina-tion,the time of entering the capital to meet WWNG Yan and presenting books to the palace,the time of meeting ZHU Xi and studying under him,the route back from Changguo and the poems he wrote,and the time of transfer-ring to Fuzhou and retiring to Mount Lu. With the in-depth exploration of historical materials and the discovery of new materials,these details have now been verified and restored.
