Preliminary Results from the Vegetable Variety Trial in the Demonstration Centre of China Agricultural Technology at Dakawa,Tanzania

摘要
2011年,引入瓜类、茄果类、叶菜类和豆类等蔬菜品种22个,在援建坦桑尼亚农业技术示范中心进行小规模种植试验。试验结果初步看出：从中国引入的杂交、常规蔬菜品种,在坦桑尼亚表现适应性较好,在雨季和旱季都有明显的增产潜力。
Abstract
In the year of 2011,22 Chinese vegetable varieties including gourd vegetables,solanaceous vegetables,leafy vegetables and beans were put into the small scale trial for variety comparison and cultivation model in the Demonstration Centre of China Agricultural Technology at Dakawa,Tanzania.The preliminary results showed that the Chinese hybrid and conventional varieties performed with high adaptability to the Tanzania local condition and good potential for increasing yield both in rainy season and dry season.
