The application of task-driven and group cooperation teaching method in the teaching of zoological experiments
Zoology experiment course was a compulsory basic course for three majors in the undergraduate colleges,in order to further improve the course teaching effect,in the College of Life Sciences of Neijiang Normal College,60 students majoring in bio-logical sciences were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The task driven and group cooperation teaching method was applied in the experimental group while the traditional experiment teaching method was used in the control group. At the end of the experiment, the students in both groups were investigated by questionnaire and tested. The results showed that the positive rate of students in the experimental group in learning enthusiasm, independent thinking ability, the ability of independent learning, the ability to combine theory with practice, experimental operation ability, ability to communicate and cooperate in groups,teacher-student interaction and students'creative thinking of the experimental group were much higher than those of the control group. The theoretical scores and experimental scores of the experimental group were 80.15±6.25 and 84.64±6.78 re-spectively,which were significantly higher than those of the control group,75.45±5.12 and72.68±7.36,showing a significant difference(p<0.05).The experiment shows that the task-driven and group cooperation teaching method was effective in the ex-perimental teaching of zoology and was helpful in the cultivation of innovative talents.
