Research on the relationship between the use of antibiotics and the total colony number and β-lactamase residue in fresh buffalo milk
To explore the relationship between the use of antibiotic, the total number of colonies and the residue of β-lactamase in fresh milk of dairy buffaloes,a two-month monitoring of fresh buffalo milk was carried out in a large-scale dairy buffalo farm.In the experiment, normal fresh milk samples of dairy buffaloes were used as the control group, and fresh milk samples of dairy buffaloes injected with antibiotics were used as the experimental group. The total number of colonies was detected using the plate counting method, and β-lactamase was detected using rapid test strips. The test results showed that the fresh milk of dairy buffa-loes using antibiotics was prone to excessive total number of colonies and positive β-lactamase,and dairy buffaloes themselves could produce endogenous β-lactamase.
