Experimental study on recirculating aquaculture of Oncorhynchus mykiss
Oncorhynchus mykiss is one of the most important cold-water cultured fish, and it is generally bred in open-air flow-wa-ter.In order to investigate the impact and potential of the recirculating aquaculture of Oncorhynchus mykiss, breeding experiments were conducted from September 2022 to April 2023 at the factory recirculating aquaculture base of Liaodong University. The experi-mental period was 240 days, and by the end of the breeding experiment,4,128 out of 4,300 experimental fish had survived, with a survival rate of 96.00%.The feed coefficient was 1.50±0.12,the total weight gain rate was 5600.12%,and the breeding density reached 75.89 kg/m3.The experiment provided reference not only for the industrial circular water aquaculture of Oncorhynchus mykiss but also the other cold water fish.
