This paper explores the integration and practice of ideological and political elements in the"pig production"course of veterinary medicine majors in vocational colleges under the background of rural revitalization.By analyzing the needs of the mod-ern animal husbandry industry for professional talents,the paper explores the path of digging and designing course ideological and political elements,closely integrating with the national strategy for the transformation and upgrading of the animal husbandry in-dustry and talent training,which includes improving professional skills,green environmental protection concepts and industrial service and management capabilities,achieving an organic integration of professional teaching and ideological and political ele-ments.Through project-based teaching,online and offline mixed teaching methods,and the construction of a multi-element evalua-tion system,the teaching focus on practical operations while solidifying the theoretical foundation,implementing a student-cen-tered multi-element teaching model is emphasized.Through the implementation of teaching,it has effectively enhanced students'understanding of the importance of agricultural development and strengthened their professional quality and social responsibility,cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for rural revitalization.
