The Application and Reflection of ChatGPT in New Media Services of Libraries
ChatGPT is a breakthrough application in the field of artificial intelligence,and its emergence provides possibilities for the formation of an AI-assisted intelligent library ecosystem.This paper explores the application capabilities of ChatGPT in new media services of libraries,testing its potential for text content writing,image and video production,reading promotion assistance,editing and revision,and tweet code writing.Its ability of self-learning and fast content production will be a great assistance in the future new media services of libraries.However,ChatGPT also poses risks such as copyright infringement,incorrect data sources,and dissemination of harmful information.These risks require the improvement of policies and regulations,establishment of relevant management mechanisms,and technical means of control.
