Quality development,balanced development,integrated development and open development are the main characteristics of high-quality development.This paper analyzes the practice of high-quality development of Hunan public libraries,that is,to create a new space for reading and consolidate the foundation of high-quality development;strengthen top-level design to provide institutional guarantee for high-quality development;strengthen social cooperation and build a high-quality development pattern of co-governance and sharing;deepen the system construction and promote the equalization of public libraries;integrate information technology to promote the intelligent development of public libraries.Finally,four thoughts on the high-quality development of public libraries in Hunan Province in the future are put forward.
