Research on Social Media Privacy Policy Paradox Based on SSO Framework:Privacy Concerns VS.Negative Reading Intention
Investigating the paradox between privacy concerns and negative reading intentions of privacy policies is crucial for enhancing privacy protection and analyzing social media user portraits.Employing the Stressor-Strain-Outcome framework and the Push-Pull-Mooring framework, this study investigates the impact of stressors on privacy attitudes and negative reading intention, and explores the resolution mechanism of the privacy paradox.Empirical analysis was conducted on a dataset comprising 321 samples, employing a structural equation model. The results show that privacy attitudes positively affect negative reading intention, and play a partial mediating role in the relationship between stressors and negative reading intention.Furthermore, this study confirmed the presence of the privacy paradox in the social media field and identified that privacy literacy has a negative resolving effect on this paradox.
