The Qing dynasty block-printed edition 100 Odes to Flowers in Calendar Order hadn't been lost,there is an only existing copy collected in NanJing Library.This edition is of great value,providing an reference to help correct the textual errors in the Japanese edition of this book.In addition,this edition retains the six prefaces and postscripts deleted by Japanese edition.Examining these prefaces and postscripts is important in understanding the personal connections of the author,Weng Changzuo,as well as the process of compiling this book and the motivation of printing it.This edition was collected by the owner of Zecun Stack(泽存书库)but has not received enough attention.As the only surviving collection of works by Weng Changzuo,this book can also help us understand the vegetation resources and the climate in Fujian during the Qing Dynasty.Therefore,it deserves further research and investigation.
