The Path for Libraries to Help Older Readers Cross the Digital Divide Under the Service Demand for the Elderly
In order to solve the problems faced by the elderly in using intelligent technology,so that they can share more information about development achievements and further meet and solve the knowledge needs of the elderly,public libraries have begun to explore new digital service models to provide better services for elderly readers.By analyzing the demand characteristics of aged readers and the main ideas of digital service and smart library construction,this paper expounds the digital gap faced by aged readers under the background of the current aging society,and finally promotes the practical exploration of improving the service for aged readers through effective measures to shorten the digital gap.
