The rise of digital economy and the continuing development of digital technology have jointly brought drastic changes in the mode of production and way of life in contemporary society.While people are enjoying the convenience and efficiency brought by the widespread application of digital tech-nology,they are also deeply trapped in the network of digital life,such as deprivation of time and space,loss of social cohesion,and covert manipulation of algorithm technology.All these show that the digital technology has deeply got involved in and reshaped people's contemporary life.In the capitalist mode of production,it is an urgent need for the financial capital to invest in digital infrastructure and control the market in the form of information in the context of excess accumulation of monopoly capital and a low interest rate.This has not only made the digital life a reality but also highlighted the capital logic behind the digital life.From the historical materialism perspective,digital life has its own development path and definitely has its limitations as well.A reflection on digital life must take into account the internal mecha-nism of correlation between capital logic and digital technology.
