The symbiotic system formed by art intervening and place making is composed of such symbiotic units as artists,local residents,local governments,enterprises,and tourists.According to the practice of localization,it can be divided into three symbiotic models:point symbiosis or intermittent symbiosis,continuous symbiosis,and integrated symbiosis.Its development logic includes five dimen-sions:ecology,scene,culture,industry and experience,which are integrated to jointly maintain the symbi-otic system between art intervening and place making.In the specific practical path,the symbiotic devel-opment of art intervening and place making requires the participation of multiple stakeholders through active guidance to enhance the cohesion and participation of the symbiotic units.The refined service platform for art intervening and place making needs to be improved to build a strong relationship between people and the place.Efforts are needed to tap the potentials of local characteristic culture to avoid homogenization of rural culture.The social communication channels need to be expanded to create a favorable symbiotic environment.Digital technologies can be applied to empower the mutualism model to promote the symbiotic development of art intervening and place making.Finally,art intervening needs to be localized to protect local cultural characteristics to achieve higher quality symbiotic development.
