International communication is an important means for a country to construct its interna-tional discourse and build its image and is showing increasing value and significance.Currently,the accel-eration of technological innovation and information development is reshaping the pattern of international communication.In the context of digitalization,to tell the story of Chinese civilization and create a new pattern of international communication,it is imperative to make cross-cultural interpretations and discourse expressions and on this basis establish the concepts and goals of international communication that meet the needs of the times.Moving towards the digital age,international communication of Chinese civilization should not only keep pace with the times but also make in-depth exploration and showcase the essence of fine traditional Chinese culture.Moreover,it is also imperative to uphold fundamental prin-ciples and break new ground in systematically reconstructing the discourse content and expression for international communication of Chinese civilization.It will demonstrate distinctive creative effects by empowering the international communication capability and the communication eco-system of Chinese civilization with digital technology and relying on the technology to reshape the groups engaging in the international communication,expand the cultural connotations of Chinese civilization and enhance the targeted communication.However,while digital technology plays positive roles in the international com-munication of Chinese civilization,it is also prone to such risks as disorientation in value,inappropriate algorithm and inadequate regulation.To this end,efforts should be made to actively explore appropriate measures to prevent risks and challenges and continuously enhance the practical effectiveness of interna-tional communication of Chinese civilization in the digital age from the dimensions of building consensus on value,strengthening technical regulation and improving the guarantee system.
